Problem After Installing The P.T.E. Stock Location I.c Help!!

Has anyone had compressor surge after installing this large stock location I.C using a TE-44? it sounds like the air is coming out of the filter instead of going into the motor. very close to the sound when you let off the throttle but wile your in boost arond 11lbs ???? checked all the hoses and they seem fine. scot w.

Double and triple check all hoses.. i had a problem of my hose connecting the up pipe to throttle body being too short and boost would leak .... it sounded crazy; almost like a freight train. HTH.

they are all very tight!

All the hose clamps are very tight, and to the point where I got scared to break or crush the pipes. should they be tightened like a bolt very,very snug?

forgive me if this way left field, but what is your boost doing, is it holding strong, I have heard of the intercooler tanks leaking, even brand new I would think(shipping encounters) just a thought

Mine's been doing it since I cleaned out my Thunderfab...I think I remember reading that 44's are prone to that part throttle surge...Mine only does it if I try to hold it around 10psi...Full WOT boost it's normal...

My 44 does that if I hold it at part throttle at 10 pounds. I have a front mount. Must happen to the 44's when you put a good flowing IC on.

Well I just got done taking all the hoses and tubes off and checked everything one more time. got everything back together and went for a ride and as I was turnning onto a 4 lane road across the road was a maxda rx-7 all turboed up he was going to go in the opposite direction but when he saw me he ran up behind me FAST and put the clutch in and reved it up. AND I COULDN'T EVEN DO ANYTHING DO TO THIS ****!!! this is killing me. i'm going to do a preasure test tomarow on the I.C. and after that the mototron 60lb injectors go in along with the turbotweek chip then I can go WOT. right now it's got stock injectors

When it surges the boost gauge flutters with the surge. it don't hold strong
