My friends car went 10.90's at 127 mph with a 1.70 60' with a PT67 and the following: CP fm intercooler, champion iron heads, 212-212 flat comp cam MSD 50's and Red Armstrong 107 chip, SMC alky, through ATR 3" exhaust. 200 4-R by me with no billet components and an Art Carr 16930. Short block is girdled with .030 hyper pistons, Total Seal rings, and ARP bolts. All while weighing 3700lbs. I think the PT67 is just about out of breath with this combo.

I forgot to mention that the boost was 26.5psi.

I went 11:00 @ 124 mph @ 23 lbs with my 45a with no timing added!! From what I know about the 45a it was no where in its sweet spot yet.!.! It really starts to move around 26-28 lbs.. I am sure with around 28 lbs I should be in the 10.60 range @ around 128 mph..

I run a TE67 69 trim wheel. Car weighs 3850 with me in it. Times in sig. on pump gas. I'm running out of turbo.. past 26-27lbs it doesnt pickup MPH.

Big difference is $$$ in between the two.

Razor, why did you go with the 69 trim exh wheel razor?

BB70 sounds like its right up your alley for low 10's on pump. ;)

I'm not sure low 10's are in his vocabulary!

At 27 PSI it made 548.

At 25 PSI and a shot 35, it made 584 @ 23 degree's timing.

At the track around 25/26/27 it stops adding MPH. Unless the button is used

Think Scott Atk went low 10's on a 67. His car is a lot lighter. He went to a 70 P trim and now has run 9.8's

I'll be trying my buddies 70 GTQ real soon.. we just need to get it of his car and see how it does. I'll post results.

9's.. dunno man.. car is on TTA irons, and the weight is really high.. 10.2-10.3 may be more realistic given the current weight situation. Last thursday nite it ran a 10.62 on the DR's 1.6x 60 foot.. with a mid 1.4 on slicks.. 10.3-10.4 as its setup. Woulda/coulda/shoulda

You may get even more mph with the GTQ and the 35 shot than you think. Its got the 9 sec potential easily pending breakage. I think the GTQ will put you near the same mph that you had with the 25psi and 35 shot before, without the 35 shot. Then throw on the 35 shot and see what it mph's. You could run an even bigger exhaust A/R than you planned if you use a bigger shot of nitrous. I think an 8mph gain would be the minimum if you ran the 35 shot and the GTQ at 25-26psi.

At anything over 25psi, my car doesn't seen to pick up much more. I run a PT67 and .85 exhaust housing. I went the 10.62 @ 125 with the .85 housing, and 25psi. My car is pretty light (3475# with me in it).
