Hi guys, just got a PT-72 the other day and was wondering if anyone here using one has any feedback??
such as how you like it,spool up characteristics, and performance
et/mph.
also I will be i will be needing an inj upgrade, and was thinking 75's would do the job,but a friend suggested 83's??
thanks.

I would say use the 83's with that 72 turbo...you'll be guaranteed to have plenty of fuel...that's a honkin big turbo ya got there:D

Ill be running a LT 72 P trim .63 A/R.:D

Only thing is,why dont I see more people running this turbo??:(And I know a q trim wheel is more effecient so....

The .63 is really choking that turbo, and makes for a inneficent combination. The compressor side is huge, and but that housing wont allow all that airflow through the motor, thus horsepower is serverly limited. If you go to 4 bolt/ .81 a/r and have enough stall, 4000 plus.......you would pick up at least 75 hp at the flywheel. I run a 68 a/r 4 bolt and i picked up a solid 4 mph over the .63 garret 3 bolt, have you ever looked inside one???????moussy!

With a 72, I would go with a 72GTS. Using the new GT wheel. Much more efficient and you can make another 50-75hp.

This is the turbo that Limit reccomended to me.I spoke directly with John C about it. I dont want to swap to a 4 bolt as my ATR headers are 3 bolt.Unless someone knows where I can get the adapter from...

I made one from a piece of soilid 3/8 steel, i think turbonetics makes one. once you go 4 bolt you wont go back!

lol :D

I guess when your running a 76 turbo on a stock block,3 or 4 bolt isnt that much of a diff.;)

You wouldnt still have that 4 bolt housing or an adaptor would you??
