I have been looking through the PTS site and have been looking at the PTS Xtreme True Roller Package RSA-1. I was wondering what all I would need to purchase besides this package to do a rebuild on my existing trans. I am only going to build this one more time for now and would like it to last a long time. I already have there 9/11 converter so I just want to build a trans that is bulletproof for a while. Thanks,
Josh

I guess I started off with the wrong question here. I have all the parts on my car that are in my signature plus a set of Champion GN1 heads and a Champion ported intake to go on the car. I am wanting a transmission that will be able to take the street and track abuse that I will be giving it. I was looking at the roller setup I asked about above for that fact but am open to suggestions. I just checked out CK performance site and their stage II trans sounds excellent. I was wondering how many of you have there stage II and how is holding up to the power. Any suggestions on what to do with my trans would be great. Thanks,
Josh

I have no problems with my Art Carr package of parts. At least call and talk to him. He has a little experience. About 55yrs worth, thats all. 200s can go into the 9s, if built for it.

Thanks for the plug Steve The area code is now 937. 937-379-2610

Thanks for the response. I will give Lonnie a call tom. I my CAS intercooler from Lonnie. Thanks,

I run the roller package. Like the reliability and quality of the parts. Only downside that I did not consider is when there is a catostrphic failure of another non-billet part and the roller package sustains damage, what are the options for repair. I recently had a sprag explode and it took out some of the roller bearings and one of the billet pieces in the rear. when i rebuilt it, i could only afford (time and money) to go back with stock parts to replace what got damaged. So far so good but we had to pay close attention to the stackup (clearances).
