pulling a Caddy 4.1

Well, I'm into the thick of it now. I didn't see how the driveshaft unhooked from the tranny, so removed the 4 bolts at the rear of the shaft....nothing else holding it bach there, is there?

You just need to take the straps off Darcy. You may need to use a pry bar to break it loose, but then it'll just slide out of the thranny. I'd go ahead and drop the pan so you can get the fluid out of it though. Makes it much easier and a lot less messy.

Uhmmm....I got it figured out....or actually....the yoke slid off the back of the tranny as I was pulling it.

All done now, except the clean up. Thanks !
