When replacing the fuel pump, why do most guys say to remove the "pulsator" thing, and replace it with a piece of fuel line hose ( which I did, by the way) ? Can it hurt performance if it is left there?:confused: Thanks, Claude. :)
 
The aftermarket pumps are a little shorter than the original stock pump...If you leave the pulsator in there, it will either fall off or stay loose on the tube and you won't have enough fuel pressure or volume...

ALWAYS use a piece of high-pressure fuel line with hose clamps to replace the pulsator...
