Been prepping my car for Norwalk. Bought some Purple Power cleaner from Autozone the other day. Spent a total of 5 minutes getting the rubber off my quarters. I had a lot too lol. Notice the pic below from Saturday:

Wow, good to know. I used to use WD-40 but it made a mess and took longer than 5 mins with less rubber than that. I used Purple Power to clean the 140,000 mile funk out of the engine compartment and it worked great, I was surprised.

It is rough on the paint though. Removes any wax that you have on the car. Probably won't be able to tell as much on a white car but I have heard of it "clouding up" darker colors.

If I think about it I spray a little furnature polish on the quarters before I go to the track - it makes clean-up a breeze.

I sqwirt Armoral on my quarters just before a pass, and there is no clean up after a run.
