Headed for Mid-Mi Moroplex with my stock motored car. This car has ran 11.6 to 11.7 at 117-118 for 15 years.
Boxed in arms, poly bushings, MT street radials.

I have installed an HR bar and QA1's in the rear and was wondering what a good starting point would be on the shock adjustment considering my power level.
Any tips would be appreciated.
Thanks

Steve

I use these setting but I don't have H & R bar but an old ATR 1 3/8 in sway bar.

Steve, glad to see you are out of "hibernation"!

It's the time of Year Steve starts heading to hibernation. If you call his alky turbo snowmobiles hibernation.:D I'm guessing you got your shocks in time Steve. Let me know how you make out bud.

Hey Nick

Yeah I'm back at it again till something goofs up on my car, then I will hate cars again for another 5 years LOL

Got em on Brian. Thank you for the outstanding service. I'll be foolin' with that snowmobile pretty soon, and when something bad happens to that I'll hate snowmobiles again for a while :-)

Thanks Lee, appreciate the input.

Like you, I have an H&R sway bar and some QA1 adjustable shocks. When I go to the track, I usually set them on 6 (on a scale from 1 to12) for my first pass. After that run, if I see there is good traction, then I set them higher to 8 or 9 or more, but if traction's bad, then I set them back to maybe 3 or 4...
Hope this helps.

Claude.

i can see going stiffer in the back if your getting traction. What are you doing with the fronts? leaving them in the middle so they get decent expansion on launch?

I have some Lakewood non-adjustables 90/10's in front...

Well I went to the track and only could get about 1psi on the footbrake so the last run I set the e-brake and got 8 psi before the lights started. It went good and never turned a tire all day so thanks for the advice guys. I ended up on 8 on each shock because I was concerned the wheelwell lip would cut the tire, I need to do something about that. What is the easiest to use and safe way to lock up those rear brakes at the line? I have only been to the track 2 times in 10 years so rusty aint the word for it.
1.66 60ft on the e brake run.
Instead of 93 and alcohol like I ran for 15 years I got the bright idea to add 50% 110 octane to the 93 and it took 6 more degrees of timing to get back to within 2 miles an hour of what it runs with 18 degrees and 93 with alcohol inj. That was a mistake. Lesson learned with this application.
Thanks for the advice.
Steve
