Question About Results With Different Mixtures/Substances

I currently run 100% denatured becuase the track has been closed but it has finally opened back up so methanol is available. Anyways, for you guys that have done some tuning with different things I have a few questions.

Will a mixture of 50% Methanol/50% water let me run more timing than a 100% Methanol mix?

My buddy was running the same 100% denatured as me on his eclipse but when his tank ran out of denatured he put some washer fluid in for laughs and he says it pulls so much stronger. On DSM Link it says it does better all around. Is methanol that much more impressive over Denatured?

I run a *gulp* supercharger on my mustang so im pretty much set at a certain psi for awhile. I just want to start raising the timing, what substance/mixture will allow me to do that the most?

Water doesnt burn. If your friend "tuned" the motor on a real dyno..he would see an increase in power eliminating the water content.

This is assumming he has control over his injection system, and he has control over his vehicles electronics(ecu).

Put the car on some rollers, or at the track watching spark knock activity.. it will ultimately tell the truth.

I've done it.. so I can say straight makes more power. Thats my humble opinion.

His best running the Denatured was 8.2@86mph.

Friday night with no other changes besides running the 50% water 50% Meth mix it went 7.92@90mph.

Could the power gain have came from the car not being as rich as it was when he ran straight?
