Question for 86-87 conversions - did you use your 84-85 hard fuel lines?

Were you able to use the 84-85 hard fuel lines from the flex lines to the fuel rail on your engine? I know the supply line has a filter that may interfere with some of the bracketry.

The answer to my question is as follows: You cannot use the 84-85 fuel supply line with the 86-87 conversion. The fuel filter location for the 84-85 won't fit with the 86-87 bracketry. You can use the 84-85 fuel return line with some manipulation. A few bends and twists of the return line and I had it fitting with the 86-87 stuff. I have to admit, I almost gave up though. It took about an hour to get it to fit.

A WORD TO THE WISE: DON'T EVER CONVERT AN 84-85 TO AN 86-87 PIECE BY PIECE. IT WILL 20 AND 30 DOLLAR YOU TO DEATH.
