Question for Shift Kit/Stall Converter Guru's

Install a Art Carr shift kit that asked what size converter i was using in the instructions(if 9", you did something different), measured the Real Art Carr Converter & came up w/10" physical diameter, but the converter claims its a 9". Did i did something wrong by not following the instructions for a 9" converter?

Torque converter diameter often refers to the actual diameter of the turbine inside the converter. That is why your outside measurement is greater.
