So I took the grand national badges off my t-type and was wondering what you guys use to clean the left over tape off...and what do you use to stick the new ones on.

BTW some people said to saw the old ones off with fishing line...I found that 10 lb line sux for this...I ended up using dental floss instead and it worked out pretty dang well (and even left some wax on the car as an added bonus  )

BTW again...If someones looking for 3 nice gn badges let me know

wd-40 should get the gunk off safely ---

I be goo gone would work pretty well too, but I'm more concerned about what to use to put new ones back...I need something strong enough to hold them on good, but not strong enough to take the paint with it the next time they need to come off

I cut badges with braided Musky fishing line, and I remove the leftover gunk with a either a rubber wheel, or wd-40, depending on how bad it is. To reinstall, I use 3m double sided tape(the grey kind, NOT the white crap). You can either put the badge on the tape and go around it with a sharp exacto, or make a template out of wax paper by tracing the bagde, cuttting it out, and transfering the shape to the tape.
