race fuel shelf life??

Not sure of the best place to post this, Gen. TB. Tech. or here. I have a drum of fuel I bought in March, it's about half full (depending on where your head is at), has always remained tightly capped between uses. Any input? T.I.A.

Should get a year ++ if you keep it tight. Whenever you open it..air should escape under pressure. The higher the octane the longer life.

It's 112 Sunoco. I just opened it today and it still went "psstt", so I should be good for a few months yet?? Thanks.

Or more. As long as you get the 'psst'. When it stops just mix it with some new stuff.
Remember that whens it gets close to empty you may not get the psst...doesn't mean its bad though...just empty.
