Radio "LOC"

Ok, I did this once before but now....

Had to replace my battery this weekend. Last time I did it a few years back, radio of course went into "LOC". I vaguely remember finding an instruction on line that I followed to unlock. I do not remember setting a personal code at that time but, if I did, I know what it would be.

So this time I go to the manual and see the procedure both if you have set a code yourself and, if not. Problem is that I can't get past step 1. I turn ignition on and go to hit "set" [i think the manual says to hit set but I don't have it with me - i hit whatever it said to] - I get NOTHING. Radio just shows "Loc."

Anyone have the on line instructions handy or know what might be up??

I believe all you have to do is hit the mute button on the steering wheel. If not someone else will chime in.
