Heeello again everyone,

On my quest to learn more about the GN I learned some new things from my mechanic. My car has an incomplete ram air kit that is not hooked up. The mechanic said that a ram air kit is bad, because when it rains, all the water can come in. Anyone know if this is true? Just wondering. Thanks guys.

Aloha,
Cale

If you do an archive search on this board or GNTTYPE, you will find that the general consensus is "no" unless you're driving in 3 feet of water or something. There is even some debate over whether running an enclosed cannister style ram air setup such as from ATR or Kenne-Bell is actually detrimental to performance(on the low end). What are you missing on your setup Cale, it might be more of a cold-air arrangment which is fine.
