Rant about my dad's car.

My dad has a pretty heavily modded Turbo Regal Limited. In fact, it used to be owned by Lawrence Conley. It was his wife's car. (ZRWHAT) Ported heads to the max (Conley offered to buy these heads back from my dad), ported intake, Comp Cam, T63E, Art Carr 9" converter, 3" dp & exhaust, etc, etc.
Here's the problem:
He never ever drives it. It just sits in his driveway and literally rots. It won't start. (Bad coil pack or ignition module) All this car needs is more injector, a front mount, and some paint work and it would be kick @ss. He has the money to get this thing running, but just totally lacks the interest I guess. Don't you just love it when potential 10 second Turbo Buicks just sit and rust away?

Ha ha! It'd be funnier if I were younger, but I'm 26 (still a kid to some). If it were taking up space in my driveway, I'd be more angry.

Offer to get it running and buy it! It is a waste other wise and that would piss me off lol. A friend's dad has an 85 442 doign the same thing and I offered $3000 to hime for it..no luck. Still sitting

theres a kid about a mile from me, he's about 20.. and he has a '87 GN in the back yard rotting.. but the kid is such full of poopy. he tells me its got a GNX intercooler, a $1500 GNX turbo.. its a T-Top car, and all around the roof is rotted out, the doors are rotted out... the interior is torn to pieces and so on.. he thinks the car is worth 12000

My father's street rod spends a lot of time in the garage. He used to take it to shows, parades and such when I was a kid, but seems like year after year passes and he doesn't drive it much. Lately he's been ebaying a lot for his Monte Carlo SS which is his daily driver, but not much for the street rod. My father's close to retirement so I really hope he gets back into the car more. Just want him to be happy with it.

Start taking parts off of it when he is not home... he'll probably never know.
