So where's the guys with the stick on molding??

I know you're out there. I see that stuff all the time. I really need to make sure I do this right and I cannot recall if the rivited molding is directly proportional to the stick on stuff. Also want to get a really close look at the cuts and the finish...

Pics, pics, pics....

Good pic! Nice close up. Can you do a few with with the end pieces of the trim (like underneath the emblems) and the part after the door.

If you can shoot a measurement like the ones above that will help immensely as well. Just want to be as accurate as possible.

You know after staring at the pics I think I have the correct line that these moldings should be at. Okay imagine, or use a long piece of masking tape and lay down a line across the car with the center line being the exact center of the edge of the tail lamp bezel in the rear and the exact center of the edge of the side marker at the front. It should be on the same line that the word Regal is on non GN models. Does this sound confusing? You know Buick had some sort of logic when they designed it.

I can see what you're saying by looking at the full size GN pic above. So I could in theory run a tape line all the way across the "center's" and that would be my mark. However, that's exactly where my molding would need to be. Thus, I think I'd need to run a tape line about 5/8's (I think) below the center line-using it as a guide- to put my molding exactly on center.

I want to look at a few more pics before I take the plunge. I forgot I have a GN that had the molding. It peeled off but the glue line is still there:mad: I'll go make some more measurements and try to get an "average" measurement before I commit.

I really hate this hobby.

If anyone has more pics, please post up.
