rear crossmenber pads ?

recently purchased an 87 442--looking @ pulling trans--there are no rubber pads between rear crossmember and frame. Is this the way 87 442 Olds came or has someone left them out prior? Thanks--Lee

If the crossmember didn't originally have them I believe the holes in the crossmember are smaller. If someone had to install big honkin washers on top and mismatched nuts etc I'd believe the pads were supposed to be there.

Oldsmobiles are solid mount..no rubber pads. Also the trans mount is centered not offset like our Buicks.
