Rear Disc Conversion Kit By Little Shop - Opinions ( bolt on )

I found a kit online that states you don't have to pull axles and it a bolt on kit . Just wanting some opinions on the kit as I compare this one to the right stuff kit or others that are out there.

It looks like you still have to remove the backing plates for the drums. The only reason they say you don't have to remove the axles is because they have you cut the backing plates off.

Thanks any thoughts on design quality of this kit ? I plan on purchasing a kit in the next week , Comparing it to the Right Stuff Kit I have seen online that looks similar

The kit in the original post won't work well. It doesn't tie into the wheel cylinder bolt, just the flange bolts. There's not enough meat on the axle flange to rely on just the flange bolts.

The Rite Stuff kit will work. The parking brake mechanism on those calipers is a bitch. You'll also get pad knockback because of the slop in the axles unless you put C-clip eliminators on it.

If you aren't racing the car in a way that requires the heat shedding of disc rear brakes, they're not necessary and might work worse than the drums. Just be aware.

The TSM kit uses the wheel cylinder bolt and has options for E-brake or not.

As well as the SSBC kit, however, the calipers have hit the frame enough to brake the tips off the bleed screws years ago with 3 adults in the back seat.

Says: must maintain stock ride height!!
