as some may remember, I had GNeric re-build my tranny 2months ago. on 6-9-09 I decided to take to work. only to have the rear seal walkout on me, & now the tranny is **** again. after tapping seal back on, I wiggled the drive shaft & their was some play on tranny shaft. I limped it home, but why would the seal walkout on me? given this is the 1st time I drove GN to work since getting it back. son was using it to work & school which is half mile from home. & NO he was not beating it, as alky was same Level from when it came home. I had run out of M1, & made it clear to him not to get into it. Eric, come out come out where ever you are.

You know what Chris. I am tired of the words I get from you. Just like the first trans I built for you around 10 years ago when Cliff and I went down to the tire store and you told me in front of all your friends, "your trans is junk" and after I unbolted the torque converter and the noise was still there, then you got nice. That trans lasted what, 8 years?? Then you didn't tell about the wheel hop issues and I covered the 2nd trans under warranty. Then again 6 months later same problem with low roller clutch and THEN you tell of the wheel hop issues. I am done with this trans. You tell me you don't abuse the car but then later you tell me what happened. I knew last time after driving the car for a week myself and driving rather spiritedly that the trans was good. I then get a call from you saying you noticed it was 2 quarts low after I put 11 in all with a 10.5" converter and factory with a 12" only takes 12 quarts. You add 2 quarts and then blow it out all over the highway. Airiating the fluid will cause problems. Cavitation. Slippage and burning. I pay attention to everything inside these trannies and do what is required and pay attention to detail. I may not charge $1800 since my overhead is low but DAMMIT I do a dam good job and I rarely have any combacks. Not saying I am perfect. No one is, but yours is the only one that is doing this. Common denominator here. Sorry to rant here but I just checked that I had a PM and no I didn't get your pic or call. I only charged you R&R labor last time you were here and parts. NO BUILD LABOR. You can give me negative feedback if you want. I still build for the Air Force in Alamo and I have an EXCELLENT track record with them and all over Cruces.

Possible reasons for seal coming out are usually rear bushing/yoke is worn and driveshaft is wobbling. Then the seal will either leak or may walk out. Most install the rear seal with sealant. I use an anaerobic sealant that prevents leakage and helps retain the seal. The output shaft is supposed to wobble without the yoke installed in a 200 4-R. The rear bushing and yoke support the shaft on the output side. Having the rear seal fall out wont cause immediate failure unless its driven around long enough to lose enough fluid and suck air. Why it fell out has to be determined. If the rear bushing and yoke look good then id put in a new rear seal. Its also possible that the vent is blocked and the seal was blown out from pressure build up but its unlikely.

so what your saying is you will no longer warranty it? I did exactly what you said with the oil situation & yes, I didn't drive it since I picked it up last. when I say it's junk- it's not a stab at you, you knocklehead. I talking about the tranny no longer working properly. as far as wheel hop, I haven't been able to take it back to the track in order to get any, & when I do go, I air up my air bags to keep wheel hop in check. you know what i'm tired of, getting taken advantage of. 1st- that prick in El Paso (Jim) 2nd-that ******* in Alamogordo, (Frank) that wanted me to pay for R&R when he didn't pull or put in my engine. but he wanted to get payed for it. & now you. what was it that you said before I left your work after paying you AGAIN. Yes Chris i'll warranty the tranny another 6 mos. & 1.5mos later it fails, & you say NO MORE, your done. GEE, that saying in your sig don't mean S#@T.

Bison, that's the thing work is 20miles away in Los Lunas. & I didn't feel the shudder until I let off accelerator. which would be to Late to catch.

So, Eric. now that you now it wasn't a stab at you or your work. cause I would not have taken it back to you, if I did have a problem. are you going to cover it? Yes or No ?

You were charged R&R labor. Not build labor. AFTER you posted here and then mentioned wheel hop. I cannot warranty that like I will not warranty someone neutral dropping a trans. Abuse is abuse. I am not saying you made it wheel hop. You chose to add 2 quarts to the trans when it left here (with a warranty) 1/2 quart over full. You called me and told me it was flairing and this was after you added the fluid in Socorro and proceded to foam it up. It was full and you tampered with it. If you do a service and forget to fill and burn it up I still have to warranty that since I was the builder?

If I charged you an exhorbinant amount then you could say I took advantage of you. I charged you book labor for bench build and did not mark up parts. You could have bought parts and the price would have been the same as I charged you. I can mark stuff up 15% and put that into my pocket but don't do that. I give you a great price and never charged you build labor last 2 times it broke from wheel hop. Lines pressure flushed and flowed and I bet the lower control arm bushings are still worn and loose.

I can understand like the shop in Albq that had to build it 3-4 times in those few days. THAT is crap. I care about what I do and always have. Ask Erik about the diff I built for the Vega wagon. Dumping the clutch at high rpm and it still lives and it is a 7.5". I have lots of 2004R's out there and they are still living. One belongs to a Border Patrol guy who has an honest 700hp pushing his. That one is almost 6 years old now. Same build as yours.

Ask them at Toyota how many comebacks I have. I have a VERY good record for quality work.

Your son has been driving the car. How many miles and how long?

as some may remember, ... given this is the 1st time I drove GN to work since getting it back. son was using it to work & school which is half mile from home. & NO he was not beating it, as alky was same Level from when it came home. I had run out of M1, & made it clear to him not to get into it. Eric, come out come out where ever you are.

Post #4 So you didn't drive it. It was still driven after the oil was spewed out onto the highway. It left here intact and shifting great.

so what your saying is you will no longer warranty it? I did exactly what you said with the oil situation & yes, I didn't drive it since I picked it up last. when I say it's junk- it's not a stab at you, you knocklehead...

You paid for R&R labor. NOT build labor. You paid for parts. NOT build labor. YOU added fluid when it was full and over by half quart with the stock filter. It was warrantyable. You tampered with it afterwards and try and get anyone to warranty anything that has been tampered with. I give everything I work on my all. I don't throw 2 clutches into a pack that has 2 burned out of 6. If you pay for an overhaul, you get a complete overhaul. Bushings, thrustwashers, selective washers, seals, clutches, steels, band(s) pump upgrades, valve body kit.. everything. I don't skimp. I will give you back your original build labor from last year and you still have the parts in your trans. I am done.

...what was it that you said before I left your work after paying you AGAIN. Yes Chris i'll warranty the tranny another 6 mos. & 1.5mos later it fails, & you say NO MORE, your done. GEE, that saying in your sig don't mean S#@T.

Then send it, just like you sent my oil adapter? you need my add again ? or better yet give it to me in person, Let me know when to come pick it up. one thing you should always remember- Any Man - is only as good as his Word.

I sent the oil adapter the next day. UPS. Here is the tracking number from May 11, 09. 1z872x007235624268. Never heard anything from you so I presumed you got it. I will send your money via Post Office.

I have been under my rock watching but I can't stand this any longer. Chris, this is EXACTLY why nobody in their right mind wants to help you any more. All we get is CRAP from you and bad mouthing for our efforts. Everytime we give you advice you do the opposite. Then you somehow feel the right to get pissed at US because you have spend a sh!tload of money on your car and you still get your azz handed to you by a properly tuned car with a lesser build. You don't listen and apperntly never will. I tell you one thing, Eric has been WAY more pleasant about this than I would have been. I know I don't have a bunch of cash laying around right now but I, ME, MYSELF would be willing to refund whatever you feel you deserve just to make you go away and SHUT THE HELL UP! You got screwed by Jim but I clearly remember telling you to stay the hell away from him. You didn't. Just because you got taken once doesn't mean you do everytime you deal with someone. Pretty crappy to air this in a public forum and not even have the balls to call Eric first?? Doesn't say much about your character. But I think we already knew that. Have a nice life. I am done with this and you. No further response from me so talk crap all you want. It will fall on deaf ears.

fuzzygn, how appropiate. Eric, first thing is first, where do you get WE from? you never said anything about staying away from Jim. 2nd- i did call Eric & asked him to call me, also send txt and a pic of seal laying on drive shaft. 3 days I waited & no answer. 3rd- I'm not knocking Eric, he along with you don't know how to read correctly. 4th- why don't you mention anything about frank? & his little stunt. 5th- & probly should be 1st, YOU need to stay the F@@K out of what clearly is none of your Business. cause ya'll are starting to piss me off. oh ya eveybody & their little tuner car, run circles around me, thats funny. coming from someone who like you. so help Eric & chip in, so I can get my Money back asap. & Eric, you need to clear whatever it is with UPS, so I can get my adapter.

Nice. Your refund goes out tomorrow. If YOU could read, Erik said "a properly tuned car with a lesser build". He was refering to his GN with the stock injectors, stock turbo and stock intercooler that was running 12.6. When u wanted to borrow his slicks. He didn't mention anything about a "ricer" or "tuner". ANYWAY!!! If you go back and read my posts (again) you will see that I NEVER charged you build labor except on the original build. Even after you hammered the low roller TWICE. I only charged you parts and R&R labor once (the last time). UPS will be taken care of tomorrow at my lunch break. The box had a "hazardous material" ink stamp on it so they would not ship. I have a new box and will get that finallized tomorrow.

Also... chip in so you can get your money back asap??? How does that make the post office any faster? I have your money ready. If you are knocking my money situation, remember. I am a home owner with a big chunk of land and a nice big garage. You have a nice day now. :)

I don't mean this ugly but can you guys take this to PM...

Didn't intend for this to come out on the Board. not my style. I would rather take care of it in PERSON. But he left me no choice, when he wouldn't call or txt me back. this will be the end, on the board side.
