Does anyone know what the 2nd relay (start counting from front) on driver fender does?
I purchased a used GN and there is a switch on the console that goes to that relay.

There is another switch on the console that goes to a purple wire on the brake switch. This switch connects and disconnects the purple wire from the brake switch. Any suggestions on what this does?

that relay is the high speed for your electric fan. i don't know what that purple wire is for.

Im going to guess someoene hooked up a fan and TC switch, one side turns the fan on and the other side is probably to lock up the torque converter thats the way we did them way back when. The relays are definately for the fan. so in essence flip the switch one way the fan runs to cool the car off between rounds at the dragstrip, the other way it locks the TC as soon as it shifts into second gear. For dragstrip use.

Thank You! These are two separate switches.
Switch One--I tested this one that went to the fan relay and it forces the fan in High Speed as long as the key is on.
Switch Two-- Looking at a wiring diagram the switch is in between TCC Clutch Solenoid and the Brake Switch(NC). I guess the previous owner would turn the switch to open the connection between these items for some reason.

The reason being at the race track, you lock the TC. all cars are different but my car picked up .3 and 4mph by just locking the TC on the same day at the track. The avg gain is around .2 and 2 mpg.
