Just what the title says, how the heck do I get these off? I don't have the instructions for the kit, but I don't see how the rubber hoses come off. Is it just a slip fit and I need to pull harder?

at the engine one hose has an AN connection that can be undone with a wrench

the other hose runs up to the filter housing and the end which is toward the radiator can be disconnected , easier to get at if you remove the filter

with the lines undone the engine adapter will spin off like a regular filter

OK, so remove them at the filter end. That's what I was missing.

Yeah its a PITA. Some convert the fittings so both can be undone just at the adapter. Last time I had it out I cut the lines and made new ones.

I believe they are made that way so they cannot get the hoses crossed.

I was thinking about doing that or just replacing it with a TR Custom Turbo Protector. I am going to install an alky kit on there and I think it sits about where I need to put the pump and coolant reservoir.

no you didnt read

one gets disconnected at the filter end , one at the motor,

and yes ,pulling one is a pain . they should have used two disconnects at the motor , if they were worried about mixing them up they could have just done M-F and F-M connections

Ok, seems clear now.

I have my alky pump bolted to the bumper bracket and the oil filter up higher behind the headlight through the core support.
