While removing my radiator to replace it due to age and a leak where the upper hose goes, I attempted to remove my rusted lower transmission cooler line (after using penetrating oil over a week). After careful turning (counterclockwise), the line so started to twist lightly, then began to leak. Bummers.

I just ordered a set from "in-line tubing". Anyone here remove and replace these before?:(

Not sure but try applying a little heat to the area. That might work. I am sure the EXPERTS in here will let you know if it is a good or bad idea.

A hopeful remedy.........

EUREKA!
I went to "Bowtie Overdrives" and looked for cooler lines. Bam, there it was, braided and hardline kit for unfortunate people like me. I ordered a set, and a torque converter inspection cover as well. Can't wait to get rollin again!:D

i replaced mine..it was a bear..much easier to remove the crossover pipe, and if I remember correctly take the started out of the way
