I`m having trouble finding the right one that fits. I have tried delphi and after market nothing fits. I was looking for anybody who has found one that fits before I put back the original? Thanks

Which Aftermarket ones did you try already? Over on RockAuto I see Four Seasons and Sprectra Premium make one. Amazingly enough ACDelco doesn't.

You might have to hit up someone parting out a car or checkout GBodyparts but I'm curious about the fitment issue though. Can't imagine why a aftermarket one wouldn't work.

I still have a NEW GM unit here. Ordered it for a customer a few years ago & he returned it. I think the wife saw The CC charge,it wasn't cheap.
As far as good used units we have a few here. I scrap the ones with no A/C charge on them. The units with a charge we mark them what vehicle & the mileage it came out of.
If you need a good used unit just shoot me some mail.

Yep GM/Delco are discontinued. This part is TR specific so it sounds like you are trying to use the part from a NA G-Body. I have a TransPro/Ready-Aire number of 6516N and that should be the number AutoZone uses.

What differences were there between the TR evaporator and one for a n/a Regal?

evaporator core

I ordered a delphi unit that was for a n/a regal but the numbers said for gn,order a four season that came different. I than order one from auto zone .That came in 1/2 bigger but fit in the box but the cover will not close?I have to try one more time with that one. I feel that one is for a v-6 or v-8 but with alittle longer output pipe than the rest--- not as long as the original

I have the engine out and wanted to replace this now before it goes back in
Lot easier now than later
