Ok, the scenario is the tranny in the GN lost reverse, got another tranny on the scene but seller said it has been rebuilt w/all high quality stuff and comes w/a torque converter but second gear is soft at higher boost levels. Im on a budget, and Im thinking buy his trans and get second gear redone. However is it cheaper in the long run to get my current tranny rebuilt? My engine is a good street combo probably good for high 11-low 12's . Or am I barking up another tree and looking at spending about the same or roughly even more?
Thanks in Advance

if you are sure that the second gear issue is not due to a slipping or burnt band than a god recalibration kit such as ours should firm up second gear ratio changes significantly.this can be done thru the transmission pan.the no reverse will require a complete dis assembly of the transmission.
