I wanted to thank Richard Clark for his time, insight & knowledge, and use of his facility!! We spent approx. 5-hours there yesterday, and I haven't stopped thinking about it since...

I just wanted to say... THANK YOU!!

hello people; Is this the Richard Clark new bumper filler guy? Your kinda unclear to exactly what he does. As I don't know. Is he a all around shop and if he is how about a proper plug. Just for my memory banks.
thanks

Just can't say enough good things about Richard! I'm lucky to live a short drive away from his shop, so I try to make it there once or twice a week. He lets me play with his toys every once in awhile, usually is working on something interesting and doesn’t seem to mind putting up with a knuckle head like me.

So as my college attending legacy to this world (18 y.o. son) would say “Word Dude!”

The best way I can describe Richard Clark is a Turbo Buick hobbiest extreme. When he's not managing his buisnesses (Which none are Turbo Buick related), he's at his shop which is the envy of many, many people. Not only does he have almost every tool I could possibly dream of, but the biggest collection of Turbo Buick stuff most people have ever seen. He hardly ever makes money off Turbo Buicks and his love is the preservation of them.

Agreed, it is hard to put in words what an experience a day with Mr. Clark and then a while at his shop is like. Unique is mild at best...

I appreciate everything he does for the TB community!

hello people; He sounds pretty cool. Now about the fillers is he the same?

Yes it is, I know he's working with a few people on these, but really can't speak about the status og them.

Maybe we should convert all the HA's in search of "Love".

He does have a love for Parts and HAs do have a few common parts the ICs.

I'll give you a funny story. Myself and a couple of friends were working on my car putting some new heads on. While parts were off the engine it seemed like a excellent time to paint some of them. I pulled off all my pulleys and asked Richard if I could use his media blasting cabinet to strip the paint off them so I could start off nice and fresh. He was nice enough to allow me to do it, however I did get some kick back. I got the ole “Eric, GM did a real nice and durable job on painting those pulleys and I don’t think it’d be a good idea to strip that paint off”. For a minute I was feeling the love, here’s a bunch of HA pulleys that no one would really care about, but he’s showing them the love! After debating with myself for a few minutes about his words of wisdom, I kind of shrugged my shoulders, tossed them into the cabinet and started stripping the paint off them. They turned out a lot better looking than the 20 some year old paint that was on them.

Mr Clark saved my bacon late one Friday night as well. Broke an oil fitting on my BB turbo (with the restictor orifice in it) and he and Pat "MacGrubered" one in a couple of hours...

Here's another thanks to Richard for helping me make my GN exhaust leak free!

Also thanks to Pat Broughton and Jim Anson for all their help
