Bruce I am sorry to say that is less than 1/10th of what all is actually there. What you can see is the dozens of tractor trailers behind the shops PLUS about 3 miles away there 26 acre facility that also has a 10 acre parking lot across the street that has, under roof mind you, 1,800,000 square feet. Thats 1.8 MILLION square feet!!!. You guys that havent been you chance will be at the TB.com Nats in May. Wanna take a guess what is under some of that square footage?? You would be correct..... If you have never been to Burlington, you have absolutely no idea what you are in for. There isn't really anyway to describe it unless you see it first hand. Sorry to say but we that are near by have really know idea how good we really have it.

I will also tell you this, If it wasn't for Richard Clarks facility and hospitality, there WOULD NOT be a TB.com Nats.....

What would you trade him , your life lol. He's got 100 or more of every part OEM ever made for 86/87 GNs. Look at the pics of the engines in pic 3 I think , you see the engine wrapped in plastic that's one of 3 NEW GNX engines . From the IC to the flywheel.

Look at the top of the last pic , hoe many lh&rh oem bumper filler can you count lollololo. I ams glad he his my friend!!!!ps none of these parts are for sale!!!!!!!!!!

3-complete sets of bumper fillers, per month, for over 10-years... Break out the calculator!!

Take the GM/TR parts out of the equation. Look at the equipment at his place! Any & every tool you can imagine. Heck he has a calibrator to calibrate a torque wrench calibrator. A psi-guage that will make you never trust your Automoter anything again. Flowbenches, engine dyno, chassis dyno, multiple lifts, paint booth, multiple Bridgeport mills, lathes, etc... Not to mention his off-site CNC machines. His engine measurement devices and fixtures are 5-decimal points accurate at the minimum. Etc., etc., etc... Oh, and the ZDDP & ZDDpaste.

Lastly, there is his good friend, who's name escapes me, that BBQ's the best chicken ever!!

K.

He has only one rule when working there on your car, don't put the tool up cause you might put them in the wrong location and with all those tool he will never be able to find them lol . No BS that's the only rule. If you have a 86/87GN then your in the rite shop. It's like a NASCAR shop but for GNs only . He does not collect T types just GNs cause everything is the same!!!

Clint and Shane, I agree with you. That's a nice compliment going to Richard. We are blessed to have him in our community.

I live in Virginia, so someday, I'm driving down to his shop just to see it and talk to him. Do you think he'd mind? Hope not, as I really don't want to bother the guy.

How nice is Richard Clark? One time on this board I was asking about all of the clips that hold on the fuel line from the tank to the front of the car (my '87 GN) He came online and explained to me the difficulty of replacing that particular line, but it can be done.

He then offered to send me FREE pictures of a bare GN frame showing all of the clips that I'll have difficulty with. He gave me his shop number to call and give him my address.

My wife called him, and he was real busy, and said to call the next day, as some big project was going on. I decided to give him a break and not bother him with my trivial problem. I will sometimes, though, when the guy isn't so busy. But what a nice guy to offer to help like that. I was floored!

The square feet in the millions just boggled my mind! My garage is only 73 feet by 26 feet, to which I thank the Lord almost everyday of my life for....but to have one in the millions of square feet on this earth?!?!? Whew. Too much for my mind to comprehend. I'll just be thankful for having a garage AT ALL, I'm very fortunate to finally realize my dream of having even a ONE car garage, instead, by the whim of the Lord, I have a four car one with a bathroom. But, it's humbling when compared to Richard's shop. Funny, on a map where I live, there's a place called "Richard's Shop." Think it's one of his??

Yes, he is extremely nice. Not many people open up their stuff to others like Mr. Clark does. You feel like a part of the family when you get there:smile:

hello peoples; I heard of Southern hospitality and Southern gentlemen and I guess there's one in Richard Clark. He's got quite a collection of TB items. I say he might have the most that I've ever seen.
Alright enough sucking up. Now lets see those top quality bumper fillers.
