RIP Roscoe P

As I get older more and more seem to go to their reward. Sadly, Roscoe P Coultrain (James Best) passed today. He was the original Sheriff for Dukes of Hazzard TV show, but he did quite a bit more than that.

Had the pleasure of meeting him one year. My wife is a huge Duke fan and we went to Nashville TN, one year for the Duke Fest. Saw Roscoe, Luke, Duke, Daisy, Enos Cooter, they also had a Barney Fife imitator (who was spot on). You would not believe the people it drew, we made hotel reservations moths ahead of time. There were car guys carrying their Hoods and Glove Box Doors around for autographs. It was actually a great time. R.I.P. Roscoe
