Rochester NY driving direction/help

Heading into Rochester NY from Toronto aboard the new High Speed Cat Ferry . need good directions from Ferry Terminal (1000 N River St Rochester NY ) to Interstate 390 then onto Interstate 15/81 . thanks .

trying to get to Interstate 81 south/west to 75 south to Florida . thanks !
you can check out this new high speed Cat Ferry at www.thebreeze.com . looks pretty cool .

When you get off the Ferry, you will pull up to Lake ave.
-Turn left on Lake ave (south away from the lake).
-Stay on Lake ave for about 7-10 miles.
-Lake Ave ends and becomes State St
-State St is just under a mile then becomes Exchange Blvd.
-Stay on Exchange Blvd for a short distance

The above are all the same road, they just change names as you go.

-Turn left onto the Ford St bridge
-Take your first right onto rt 15 South (Mt. Hope Ave)
-Stay on rt 15 South to 390 South (West Henrietta Rd)
-390 South to NYS Thruway RT90 East.
-Rt90 East to 81 South........

(rt 15 South runs well past PA if you don't wish to go towards Syracuse to catch 81)

i don't know if there is a reason you need to go on 81 but it's not the quickest route to florida
i just emailed you the quickest route from boat to I-75 through Atlanta
if that doesnt work for you let me know

what city or area in FL are you going?

I'm just taking the scenic route thru 81 and the Appalachian Mountains and then 75 south to Florida (Clearwater).looks good on the map. no real hurry to get to Florida . 3 days should be good going that route .thanks again .
