Roll bar question

I am about to install a 6 point bar in my car and i like the way some of you guys are doing the bars that go from the main hoop,along the roof line and through the rear deck package tray. My question , is it NHRA legal and does anyone have trouble passing through tech?

That is the way we do ours and it is NHRA legal. Since you are doing a major mod to your car, it would be wise to get and study the current NHRA rule book for all the other requirements and items needed for roll bar installation.

Thanks for your reply Nick, i was looking at the rule book and that's what made me ask because it said something about a certain amount angle and degrees and all that jargin and kinda lost me. Do you got any pictures or know anybody who does?
