Roll Bar Side Bar Routing

I'm almost complete with the install of a roll bar, which will have side bars on both sides with swing outs. My question is does anyone have any pics of a properly installed side bar that allows clearance to open the door handle? If I stick to the rule of the bar passing my arm midway between shoulder and elbow (in driving position), I find that the side bar passes right in front of the door handle. I have to bend the bar anyway to clear the armrest, but seems to me I need quite a compound routing to miss the armrest and allow for clearance for the door handle.

Some of the pics I've seen in this forum show side bars that would not meet spec or the guy driving is extremely short .

As always, I really appreciate the input on these forums.

Thanks!

I'm 6-1 and no problems with my door handle clearing the bar. My bar is pretty tight to the arm rest as well.

On my bars a 5 to 7 degree bend clears depending on the placement of the hoop, a pillar bars etc. Might post pics later. I have pics posted in threads elsewhere.
