Ok I'll get a pic of the plugs again today. Where do I look to see what chip I have? I'm sure it is older and I don't know what WB is all that on my laptop info?

Should/could be a label on the chip.
As for the current plugs... Not much value w/ the run time they have.

It is a Bosch WB- I'll get the plugs out tonight and also drop the volts down see what the idle does. I read that the O2 needs to heat up and may not be as accurate in the lower gears. When data logging should I be WOT in all the gears? Or just in 3rd like the program recommends ?

If its a bosch wideband it should be heated and you don't have to worry about it warming up. It takes about a minute. Datalog throughout all the gears and at different throttles. Just be careful running full WOT if you're running lean. I'm at altitude and my stuff always runs rich as hell. Something is wrong.

Good to know thank you. Could the WB just be weak and on it's way out?

Where is the wideband mounted? Usually the bosch sensor will throw an error code and not read. At least it does on my MTX-L

When eric was referring to what WB you have he meant what WB controller i.e. LC1, AEM etc. Different brand controllers read differently and we have to adjust our Powerlogger dashpanel to read your logs correctly.

I don't know what one I can look on the logger. It's mounted just after the hot side of the turbo. Also the DP dumps into a small muffler I'm not running a full exhaust and am not running a cat.

Trace the wiring that connects to the O2 sensor. Look for a "box" in the middle of the wiring. Here is a pic of the AEM controller but others are similar.

Plugs I'm shining a light so it looks more grey than they are. They are black and a rust color. Thank you all for the help. What do the plugs mean?

Take the chip out and look at the label on the bottom.
You have a speed density chip which needs to be tuned. I can see in the log that everything is at the defaults, so it has not been tuned, and the wideband correction is turned off. I would not do any full throttle stuff until you know what you are working with.
If you are not good with tuning, then I would put a MAF back on it and use a "normal" chip.
Eric

I want to tune it myself with what I have. How do I turn on the WB correction? It says it only shows up when you okay back a log.

Does anyone know how to turn on the WB correction? And does it just tell you how much it's correcting. TPS seems fine at .50 it was that way in the other call also and idles ok. Getting hotter plugs tonight. Any other ideas of what to do beside bang my head on the counter?

Those plugs look like crap. They have some deposit in the porcelain. Probably some octane booster. I just replaced a set that looked just like that in a 3000GT with wasted spark ignition like these cars and it would misfire it's ass off over 10psi prior. New plugs/wires and tightened gap and no problem at 15psi. Totally different animal.

I do have directions for the PL and the TT SD chip. I have read them front to back several times but it only says the WB correction will only show when playing back a file. I want to try changing something I just don't know where to start. If the plugs are fouled for being rich then why is showing the AFR so lean?
