Saw a turbo...

...back in June at the PowerTour stop in Lake Charles, LA that I'm not familiar with. It was on an '86/7 GN and was a 3 bolt, but the turbine side was MINISCULE. I mean, my fist was bigger than that turbine! What kind of turbo would have such a small turbine with a larger than stock compressor?

somethign for really fast spool with no power i'd guess. or someone just had 2 spare parts. it wouldnt' do much good, maybe if you had a super small engine, but we wouldn't get anything out of it.
