I've had my scanmaster sitting loosely on the floor underneath the radio. I want to secure this in a neat, clean fashion. I don't see where anyone makes a horseshoe style mount that could be used to attach on underside of console next to the steering column. Searches show mounts all over the place - on top of radio pod, on top of dash, even vertically in a heater vent. Seems most people use velcro or double sided foam tape. Was hoping to find something a little more sleek but maybe this is my best option.

I plan on filling the area between console and radio pod with guages so I've ruled that out as a potential mounting place.

I would be curious to know what others are doing. If unique pics would be great. Thanks!

I like to mount mine right on the dash with some velco tape so I can see it. Line of sight is good if your racing your car or like to hit the gas pedal alot. A clean look I saw before was someone used some foam and mounded it inside the dual gauge pod that most have at their center console. Cant really see it down there when your driving but it was nice.

Gotta have the gauges to cross ref the powerlogger and scanmaster readings. I used to have both a mech and elec oil press gauge too

I mounted mine on top of radio pod; but I used flexible adhesive magnet (the business card magnets you can get at office depot or Wally World & cut to fit)the velcro glue tends to melt here in Houston in the summer time (10 months out of the year it seems!) w/ magnet it holds well & i can move it to view when I'm working under the hood
D
