This may help you. Try this.
First.. main trigger for me is dehydration. Colon gets dehydrated and pulls water from the spinal discs. Then what happens is you take pain meds.. and then that dehydrates you worse. Notice when you take pain meds you cant go #2..
I find drinking a lot of electroltye water(gatorade, smart water, etc.) and keep the water up. The other thing is get into a tub of warm/hot water and get into the fetal position to open up the back. This allows the discs to get hydrated.
Hydration to me has been the key to staying pain free. Trust me.. I missed a race in January and been pain free ever since. Things like diareah(bad food), being in the sun, sweating a lot, etc.. things that dehydrate I watch like a hawk.
