SD2 stock boost control

I have noticed you can control boost with a stock solenoid . I had to dig out my stock solenoid believe me it was a mission just glad I found it . I totally forgot how the pluming goes. I have a external waste gate will it work for it? Can I put a aem type solenoid in? I currently have a bleeder type mounted in the car. Does anyone have a diagram of the pluming and info on the PL setting for the ecm to control the boost. I haven't received my chip yet but have been doing a lot of reading .thanks

Good question. I hope we can get an answer on this. I am currently in the process of switching over to and SD2 and need to know if I should try and find my stock solenoid or pick up one of the manual boost controllers I have been looking at...

I use a solenoid from Grainger it flows more so it has more range.

it has a different plug but full throttle has the adapter harness.

My boost control solenoid is actually connected to the ISAC but I spliced into the factory harness at inside the car.
