I just put a stroker motor with my combo from last year 67 turbo,3400-3600 stall, and put a deep pan with bottom feeder. At around 25mph it wants to shake and make noises. At lower or higher speed seams ok. When I adj. the TV cable the flat part is out 1/8 . I also had the tranny tore apart and checked out fine. What is it?

Its a weber racing built, dont think its that . Would thTV adj. being 1/8 not a 1/4 like last year?

Is the engine lugging? Sounds like the TV cable isn't adjusted right, and it is going in high gear too soon, or your converter is staying locked.

its probably shifting 2-3-2-3-2-3. I heavily built trans can do this pretty harshly and make some noise.

light throttle 2-3 shiftpoint is right about 25 mph,

The KC valvebodies are reported to fix this.

(I plan to try one)

How should the Tv cabe be adjusted? I pushed the release and pushed it back, then floored the throttle..it only came out 1/8. Las year it was 1/4. Should I just adj. to 1/4 and try?

Thats what it sounds like thanks guys,I let you know how it works after I put the B+Ms Super cooler on and adj TV.

Although I think it would do it all the time make sure your bolts on the converter are actually tight and not too long and bottomed out... But as stated earlier in my experience BRFs have a tendancy to do the 2-3-2-3-2 shift round 20-25 on some units.... found out in a school zone lol.
