about how much $$$ are we looking at for a shift kit installed at a tranney shop. i dont have the time to do it my self. my transmission is getting so sloppy, i let some other turbo buick guys drive my car, gezz i was so embarised.

not sure for a 2004r, but for a th350 here in Nebraska, it runs about 70-100 dollars.

I just put one in from PTS Extreme. It was $90 to my door. That's more expensive compared to others, but I heard that it's the best so I did it and I'm very happy. Since I'm anal about making permanent changes to my car, I really like that it is totally reversible. Another thing I like is that I can adjust my TV cable back so the car shifts early for daily driving, hitting overdrive at about 40 mph, but every shift is still a neck snapper.

I paid $150 to have a shift kit installed along with the pressure kit, it does'nt sound to bad when you call it $75/ hour and have it done right the first time and by a pro.
