I just bought an older ATR billet cam with all of the correct nose gear, but it seems like the t chain is a little loose. From what I've read, using the stock tensioner is not a good idea. Does anyone know where to buy a shorter t chain?

Thanks, Cory

The chains aren't what varies with an undersized set. It's the size of the cam gear

Can you still get the cam gears for the older ATR billet cams?

It probably used the modular odd fire nose which is available. Post pic of timing gear.

Thanks, and I won't.;) I was just test fitting the chain.

The chain is loose because the cast cam gear is worn, not chain stretch.
Do you know where I can get a new top cam gear for this setup? Or...am I better off buying a complete new set? I am a little concerned about how loose it is. The block has been line honed. Should I still look at and oversized cam gear? Is there a way to measure the distance between the crank and cam holes to tell if I need one?

Buy a new set. I'd order a std and a .002" set.
