hey guys i got a really cool porsche and all the chicks dig it... but i was offered a gn in trade. Should i do it? its a really cool 944, those unfimiliar its 4 cl, 150 hp and its seafoam green...

The 944 is a nice car...But I think you will find most on this site Partial to the Buick...:D If your not familiar with the GN's.I would look for someone that knows the cars to check it out for you first.

take the GN!:D , you'll thank me later especially when you have to replace parts i had a 944 before i had my gn, and the simple parts way to expensive, the insurance and it's a cow compared to a gn, i had jetta's leaveing me behind in my 944s , i know it's your choice but trust me bud you'll love your gn:D

p.s i want to see picks of the gn, when you get it, get it, get it, get it :D :D

The kind of chicks that don't like GNs are young, dumb, blind, and all about the bling bling BS!!!! They are attention starved and love anything that is a broad fad that draws attention.

The kind that do like our GNs enjoy the power and of course the sound of the Turbo. These type are more likely to like you when you go out of fashion. The best advice is not to be with a girl that just likes you for your material possesions

My GN is by far no show car. But I like it that way for the time being. People that ride in it like it that much more. I might paint it some day and recover the seats until then....yeeeee haaaaw!

After I rolled my 944 on its roof (never touched the side of the car and came to rest on the roof), I bought my GN. Is your car a 5 speed car? Because if it is, can you say 13.5 labor hours to change a multi-disk clutch, plus $950 for parts?  . The vehicle is 50/50 weight balanced and acheives this by coupling the transmission with the differential and a torque tube to the engine. Not to mention the fact that the ride quality does not improve on the vehicle until you're above 70 mph. The nice thing about the ride quality is that between 70 and 135 the vehicle rides glass smooth. A 928 will provide a smooth ride from zero to whatever. The glove box can hold a bottle of wine (and two glasses) and an ac vent (to the glovebox) that will chill a bottle of wine in an hour:D . Look in the back seat. Ever sit back there? When my children were six, they would be comfortable, but my oldest is a teenager and 170. It would take a shoe horn to pry someone out of the back seats.
The GN may look like a grandpa's car, but car enthusiest know what this car represents to GM and Buick's history. I enjoy taking my GN to shows and using it as a daily driver. It may not have the aerodymanics of the Porsche, but it's fast (actually the operative phrase is way faster than that Porsche :D). It has enough creature comforts to keep me happy (though I miss the heated mirrors and seats).
The decision for you is preference, because these two automobiles represent different automobile categories. This being a TR board, IMHO you can have your chick magnet, but this will be the look on her face as a grandpa looking brick smokes your 944   :( . This will the the look as I blow by you :D :D

His post is a joke. Nobody in their right mind would even trade a GN for a 944. Weaksauce.
