I have some issues going on with my car and one of the things I need to know is whether I should have my blue tops cleaned and checked (around $90) or step up to the TurboTweak 60's ($370). My mods are in my sig and I will be installing a CAS V4 very soon. If I was starting from scratch I would go 60's no question, but if my blue tops are good do I really need to replace them with my mods? Currently 15 psi with stock turbo with 770 O2's adding 20% fuel.

i say go w 60s. just makes it easier if you want to further upgrade or as a selling point should you decided to. just think if you want to upgrade in a year add 90$ on to the price of new injectors. i would also think w the cad v4 you're moving more air which you would need more fuel. do you have a pl? can you see inj duty cycle? i guess i just feel 60s are the new staple for a basic safe mod.

Clean the bluetops, best injectors I ever owned.

I would upgrade I had a set of 36's my car 5 years ago when I first bought it upgraded to the 60's just gives you room to grow instead of spending twice if your happy with your current set up and don't plan on upgrading in the next couple years then I'd say keep them.

At 15 psi. keep what you have, you won't outgrow them until you are well over 20 psi.

If you're going to keep the boost low there is no reason to spend the money...If you plan to push the car, get the injectors and a matching chip.

Do you have the PL to see the duty cycle of the injectors?

Unfortunately I don't but am needing one more and more everyday.

I am concerned that my O2's are low for 20% more fuel. Shouldn't be that low. And I really don't think that I am running out of injector (but they may be defective/clogged). Erik (TurboTweak) agrees with me. I have to do a little more trouble shooting, confirm FP gauge, change out O2 and fuel filter, etc. The professional injector cleaner on the board really likes the blue tops also. My Scanmaster #'s are dead on with the exception of my BLM's rising to 140 ONLY when idling for more than a minute or so, most likely from a cracked driver's header.

I haven't checked Eric's site lately, but his 80# injectors and chip was the same price as the 60#'s and still offered the same driveability. I wished I'd have done the 80"s as there is more room to grow:(

With the mods you have now and the boost level you run. I would keep the 36 lb inj's and save the money to put towards the purchase of an alky control kit.

I ran 36 lb Bosch white body inj. for a few years with just bolt on parts, pt52 turbo, front mount,headers,70mm tb/plenum,Caspers thumb wheel dial up chip,Kirbans performance fuel pump, adj fuel reg. The car was fast, reliable and a pleasure to drive, and i drove it everywhere from Fla. to Wis. i put just about 70,000 miles on it in 3 1/2 years.

Spend the $$ on Powerlogger then see exactly what is going on. In addition to PL set it up to monitor fuel pressure and boost pressure THEN you can determine what you need to do instead of guessing.

I decided to keep the blues and got them back from Chuck. He did a GREAT job. All were within 2% of each other. They were installed about 15 years and many miles ago. They were in VERY good shape before he did his thing. Now they are in even better shape:finger: I'm loving Germany right now-Bosch:ROFLMAO:

I still have my TE44/bluetop combo that I have had since the late 90's. Ran 11.9 @ 115 with a really bad 60 foot. I may go alchy soon but not sure if I need to upgrade injectors at the same time.
