Okay, so I'm kinda bored, need to go to bed now, but ended up on the computer...

I was just curious what you guys have for aftermarket wheels. If I end up getting the GN I'm looking at I'm thinking about putting the stockers in storage, and putting on a set of American Racing Torque Thrust II's or Boyd Smoothie II's... I would like to put 16", and would rather have the Boyd's, but I don't think they're available in 16" yet... so, maybe Boyd's on my truck and AR's on a GN...

Are those GNX rims in the picture? I like them, and had thought about them, but decided to go with something different, although, now your telling me my idea different may not be...


So, nobody else has aftermarket rims?

Think long and hard before going to 16s...the tire choice is very narrow.
I had 16s on mine and the tires always looked to short. Ended up going back to 15s
car with 15s:

Enkei makes them, i hope i spelled it right...

im hoping to sell these and get some GTA rims.. they are good aftermarkets but the GTAs do look much better.

They weigh a LOT

I'm going to try and clean them and see if they can look as good at real GTAs... they are just REALLY hard to clean, without a toothbrush ...

I'll let you know if I ever want to sell.. i'm sure you can find some of these all over.

Hey, thanks for the pix... Some real nice looking cars there... I'm really getting the itch for the GN.

zam70, assuming I get the GN, I'm starting to lean more towards a 15". I don't want too thin of a sidewall, and the Boyds I really like are available in a 15" or 17", but no 16"...

qwknuf6 what kind of rims and size are those? I like do they have a chrome lip of is the hole rim chrome?

18x9.5 rear and 17x8.5 frt , center of the rim is a silver powder coat and the outer rim is polished

These are painted centerlines. Not the best but they came with the car and I had the centers painted black.

Just waiting for my buddy to get tired of his wheels (same as quiknuf), so I can buy them and have the centers powdercoated black.
