Signs a coil pack is going out

Do they slowly die and give some signs or do they just go?
What are the signs if they do give them

Poping out of the intake when under boost, especially higher boost levels....
Each pair of coils doesn't ohm between 11k-13k (I think thats what the range is)
Best tool is to get a Caspers Coil/Ignition mod tester....as a pop thru the intake could be other things but is an indication the spark is getting blown out.
