Just picked up a 87 rehal non turbo with a vinyl top bench seats good condition for 800 bucks  I have a spare 109 block I need your advice on this combo freshen up the block wi th a roller cam and forged crank stock rods and pistons / 2. Port stock heads alky 72 pnd inj stage 2 trans 3800 stal to help the turbo on the street and the other normal crap that goes with the set up am figuring a 10.70 vinyl top regal with a fade black paint job keep the 15inch steel wheels with the spoke hub caps and a 275 drag radial:cool:

Sounds like FUN. I've built one just like that before. Heck, My twin turbo car has a Landau vinyl top, too. No one expects a car that looks like that to be fast.

Only critic would be to add K1 rods, too. The stock rods bend at high power levels.

I think he was just saying (like many of us) that we would like to see the starting point of your project. It sounds like you got a great deal on the regal. Good luck with the project.

Wow that'll kill a thread in a hurry.

Pretty sure that was sarcasm up above. Also pretty sure he doesn't qualify as a kid anymore.

Lighten up. We just want to see the sleeper-to-be. :)

Oh what the hell, while i'm here.........

Lmao !!!!!! I needed that laugh its been a ruff 3weeks half my house caught on fire but that pic put a smile on my face:)

......But seriously, it sounds like a great idea. BUT there's quite a few little bitty piddly parts to go onto an LC2 conversion. I'm currently planning a swap into a wagon, and the small stuff is gonna eat me alive, for this reason I think i'm going to buy a wrecked or rotted LC2 car to get the nickel and dime stuff. You can't go wrong with a solid car for that price though!

Maybe you have heard the saying, "A picture is worth a thousand words." It isn't like I asked you for a detailed thousand word description that you had to type out.

Lighten up this is suppose to be fun. And I'll try to grow up. Oh, and no disrespect intended to you or your thread. I guess curiosity killed the cat on this one. And with as poor an attitude as you are laying down I'm not sure I want to know you.

Maybe we can start over. Hey, My name is Rich, I have had a Regal or two. What, may I ask, do you plan to do with your car? Track only, street only, just a cruiser, street/strip? Do you want to run pump gas, alky, race fuel?

No prob rich its just been a ruff 2 weeks for me and my family and I find this forum to be my get away so I apologize for the way I responded to your post  as for the car I do plan to run alky am now lookin to do a stroker set up but I was told from a vendor that stroker cranks are not available no more he said if I want a billet crank $2700 wow:eek:so am still searching any ideas?

I would see if any of the other vendors have or know where to source one. May have to search up a used one. I have the desire for a 4.1, you might look into something like that. I am stuck at the pistons. I want forged, my budget is still telling me no. So I keep saving up.

I know what you mean rich am online now searrching and making a list am going to call xottons pref Monday and see what he tells me if anything ill just go all forged which ever way I look at it its a lot stronger than stock with a piece of mind

Heck; I'll throw it out there just for fun as well, don't get to use it very often
