slot cars anyone?

Anyone here race 1/24 scale slotcars? Our track is closing down and I have alot of stuff and when they close I thought I would offer it here first.

There is supposed to be a facility opening in Alachua just north of Gainesville Fl. I saw their old facility by accident one day last year and they said they were moving (landlord problems). The tracks were the classics form 30-40 years ago and they were restoring them. I still have some awsome equipment from that era and would love to see this happen so close.

I love racing the cars with my kids. They have two tracks and a drag strip here but will be closeing by the end of May. What sucks is I just bought my oldest son a group 27 for $360. I thought about buying the drag strip but you have to have 80ft to put it up. I can get it for $1000 if anyone wants it for their house comes with every thing but the pc. It will tell you 60ft 330ft 660ft 1320ft rt et and mph. This is a $3600 track thats not been used alot.
