Small shot on PT-51 w/ 100 oct chip?

A buddy of mine is running a 51 w/ 21 psi and a 100 street/strip chip. He wants to know if the 23 degrees of timing is too much? We are talking a 35 shot the whole way down the track! Mostly to cool the car down.....it is hot as hell here! He is running 11.80's.....his goal is to break 11.50's. If the car handles it....lol.....will he run 11.49 or better? Sorry for my buddies 18 year old question! Thanks though!

no suggestion here except when the turbo falls apart dont believe the story about the nos did it or you motor did it or wow thats strange we havent heard of no problems with the 51's.

AHhhh HA! Found a 93 JC chip. What about now? Is it safe to do with the lower timing or not?

I am running 11.5s with the 51 with out nos on a stock engine.
I have sold over 20 51s with 0 problems

what else is done to your buddys car?what injectors,etc?
