Thought i'd share some ideas for hiding the nozzle.. Dont let the other guys know this :D

I wont mention who or where to protect those..

How bout on a front mount on the outlet portion mount the nozzle behind the radiator on top. No hoses will be visible this way.

On a stock location use a solenoid and mount it also on the IC at the bottom firing up.

Behind the plenum using a solenoid under the coil pack..

I love the green food dye to colr the alky green.. could be a few shades different tho..

Ideas???

hehe

Julio,
Would the performance of the alky kit be altered by installing the nozzle further away from the throttle body? Just wondering.
Thanks,

I dont think so. The end results is when the TB is opened.. the air carries it in. I'll see if its doable on my front mount.. and then compare the results. I mean its a real easy test, just relocate the nozzle and see if there is a difference. Especially with my setup being progressive.. turn it on at 4 PSI.. you'll have alky in the motor by the time it sweeps past 16.

Leave the nozzle in the up-pipe and put a plug.. that ought to be a real stinker.. "yeah I use to have this water kit then took it off"..

;) ;)

It gets better. How bout an old BGC kit laying under the hood unplugged for a distraction? .. i'm goona get some heat for this :D

It is an easy enough test to perform I suppose. I was just thinking that if it were injected further upstream that the alcohol would vaporize too early and the air charge could get "warmed up" while entering the intake manifold. I would think that you would have to inject more alky to combat that. Or maybe Im just thinking too much???
Thanks,
