At first glance, I thought, what the hell are these people doing to these prisoners? But, if you put it in the context of trying to get information to stop the killing of our soldiers, it doesn't seem so serious. After all, nobody was decapitated.
Nothing like the almost fainting of the democratic lawmakers upon seeing more pictures of naked prisoners. As the news drones on and on about this matter, it seems to me it's much to do about, not much. This is a great way to dennigrate the military, while saying they support the military.
Just more undermining of the Military, the President and more directly, Rumsfeld.
If you take into consideration having to serve in that absolute hell-hole of a country, I have to say that I feel bad for those accused of the socalled prisoner abuse. Not many Americans, on the whole, have to put up with the suffering and depression of being in that place for a year or more.
The liberal press has a field day. The President can only lament the bad press. I don't think he should have apologized and I hope he doesn't address it anymore. The liberals only demand perfection from Republicans and everyone who serves under them.
