Solid Edge: Any users here?

I just recently switched over to Solid Edge from SolidWorks and I'm having a tough time. I was using SW 5 years and loved it. Now I'm not liking Edge.

I've made transitions from IDEAS to ProE, ProE to Catia, and Catia to Solidworks with no problems.

Just wondering if anyone here has used Edge. I think it sux.

Most of our cad systems are Catia. Those are the first 70K desktops I have ever dealt with on the network. 70K for a high performance desktop!!! Users seem very happy with the system. Glad I don't deal with them too much. Just the server side of things.

I know GM uses SolidEdge for some of their work.

Yea a big problem is that Edge requires 2g of RAM to operate. They recommend 4g. I have 2g on my system and it just can't keep up with the assemblies I have to work on and design.
In all I should be working on a mega desktop with a good graphics card, loads of ram and good processor.
