Hello Blackmonte Your car is going to look sweet by the pictures you showed . That Black color you picked looks sharp.

Good Luck and Keep us Posted.

Looking good.

I can't remember ever hearing anyone say that they felt that they spent too MUCH time on prep and paint. Do it right once, and see all the jealous people.:)

Progress pics would be nice.:)

Happy spooling.

That is my friends GN not mine , but it's the body shop that I am using when I repaint my car . That 57 chevy is the black I they are going to use on my car when I start mine it's House of Kolor and looks sick 10' deep. I will get more pics posted when I get back home my brother is in ICU in Arkansas so I have been here for some support for him.

Hi Blackmonte; and correct me if I'm wrong your name is John. Well first I hope your brother gets better and makes a full recovery. Second Where is the shop located that you intend to get your car painted. I'm restoring a GN and need a good painter. From the look of the pictures you posted you found one.

Thanks

Benny

yeah thats how he got the car 2 GN wheels 2 camaro wheels.I am still waiting to get some more pics up. How much $$ in material so far in your restore? And if the rear quarters are checking but the rest of the car is good what is needed to be done? To blast my car is $1500 epoxy primer, sealer, base ,clear, sand paper? Any other tips I might try this project myself:eek:

This is a lonnng project. Unless your retired and can work on the car 3/4 times a week this will be a few year project to be done right. I stripped my Gn down to a shell with the intention of getting it blasted. The amount of hidden rust turned me away and I have given up. I will be parting that car out with a loss of tons of hours if labor and a few grand. I bought another one that is also a project but this one with be built piece by piece instead of ripping the whole car apart and having no toy to drive. My number one objective with this new one is do everything to it with out taking it off the road for more then one week at a time.
